CELEBRATE WITH US! In mid-September, we announced that women now hold 20.4% of board seats in Russell 3000 companies! We have achieved and surpassed our goal, a year earlier than expected. We’ll be celebrating this accomplishment at all our 2019 National Conversation on Board Diversity events, and throughout 2020.
Forbes | According to PwC’s analysis, the push for gender diversity on boards went mainstream with State Street Global Advisor’s installation of the Fearless Girl statue on Wall Street in 2017 and subsequent shareholder activism for gender diversity. Other campaigns like 2020 Women on Boards aimed to get women in more of these corporate positions by the new decade.
