2020 Women on Boards Supports Peaceful Protests against Racism and Violence

We are writing in response to the horrific events we have witnessed in our country over the last week and months. We support the peaceful protesters who courageously march so we may bring about meaningful change and ensure that George Floyd and the many African-American men and women who have lost their lives due to racism and police brutality will not have died in vain.

Why 2019 Was a Breakthrough Year for Women in the Boardroom

The New York Times | It was the only company of the 25 largest public offerings in 2019 without a woman on its board, according to new research by the nonprofit 2020 Women on Boards. That’s a significant shift from 2016, 2017 and 2018, when 12 companies, or roughly half, went public with all-male boards in each of those years.
