Global Conversation on Board Diversity

In 2019, the Conversation was held in 30 US and international cities. Click on the links below for event descriptions. And check back for the announcement of this year’s Conversation and grand celebration of our 10th anniversary.

2020 Women on Boards holds a variety of events and programs in keeping with our mission to educate and advocate for more women on corporate boards of directors.

What started as a national event to encourage dialog about the status of women on US corporate boards has grown to include cities across the globe. Now known as the Global Conversation on Board Diversity, this signature event is attended each year by thousands of senior-level executives who come to discuss the latest thinking in corporate governance and boardroom diversity.

This signature event, attended by thousands of current and aspiring women directors, C-Suite and senior executives, is held every November in cities across the U.S. and the world.  At these events, we announce the findings of our Gender Diversity Index, proprietary research on the status of women directors of companies on the Russell 300 Index. We also hear from corporate leaders on the latest strategies companies are using to diversify their boards and advance women to positions of leadership.

Events are coordinated by hundreds of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy in fulfilling our mission of educating and advocating for change.
